Customer Strategy Manager

We are now seeking a Customer Strategy Manger to lead key strategic marketing projects and work-streams that will shape and develop the future of convenience retail for Caltex. In this role, you will develop expertise on customer needs and trends, market and competitor dynamics and our own targets and performance to develop robust strategies and plans to deliver our commercial objectives.

 

You’ll take us further by:

 

  • Conducting end-to-end business review of business-critical customer propositions including recommendations
  • Development of customer segmentations and identification of customer growth opportunities
  • Performing complex analysis of market, competitor, customer and brand to form the basis for Convenience Retail business plans
  • Bringing to life and representing the customer in all strategic projects
  • Collaborating with Marketing Analytics to build a holistic customer insights feedback loop leveraging VOC, social listening and our customer service centre to develop insight and drive action
  • Employing your ability to build credible relationships with cross functional teams and external agencies
  • Clearly communicating key insights and market trends to create the strategic commentary to Project Streams and Leadership Teams

 

This is an opportunity that will challenge you to identify and socialise growth opportunities and provide clear actionable recommendations that drive a customer centric business plan using sound data and effective storytelling that brings the customer to life.

 

To be successful you will have:

 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline supported by a minimum of 3 years of Research Agency, Marketing Strategy or Management Consulting experience.
  • A proven ability to translate complex and innovative market initiatives into business solutions;
  • Excellent commercial and communication ability to report and present complex issues to a broad group of stakeholders, matched with the competence to respond to challenge, always maintaining a customer viewpoint.
