We are looking for an experienced Commercial Insights Analyst based at our head office in Sydney. You will review, analyse and interpret all relevant information sources to deliver insights and analysis through to the B2B pricing and other teams. You will be focal point within the B2B pricing team both for incoming information and outgoing trends and analysis, as well as responsible for developing the analytical tools used by the B2B pricing team.  To give you an idea of what this involves, you will:

  • Develop, operate and enhance analysis tools and models used by the B2B Pricing team including Forward Market Call, Quote models and any additional tools developed for B2B Pricing
  • Ensure model integrity and manage key input parameters to those model
  • Liaise and engage with internal SME’s, to ensure the models accurately reflect the value drivers across the supply chain through to customer
  • Manage changes to B2B pricing standards and communicate through to relevant personnel within the business
  • Analyse market Intel and customer data to identify customer insights
  • Work with B2B Pricing analysts to align model data and processes to current market feedback.

To be successful you will have strong experience in the understanding of key value drivers, trading terms, exposure management, cost drivers and petroleum supply chains. Ideally you would have a background in Commercial Analysis, Finance or Trading. You will be able to translate commercial analytics to practical application and the ability to lead, coach and develop team members as well as engage and influence all levels of stakeholders. You will be team oriented, able to navigate complex problems and identify business process risks.
