The opportunity

Caltex currently has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Specialist to join the Fuels and Infrastructure IT team based at our head office in Sydney CBD.  This role is key for providing support, maintenance and on-going development of CRM systems.  You will work closely with our B2B, Customer Service and Marketing teams to identify current and future requirements, to recommend, develop and implement solutions that deliver desired outcomes and are compatible with the enterprise ICT architecture.  The ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively with stakeholders and vendors in addition to the requisite technical SalesForce skills are essential and key to securing this role.

 

Experience required  

  • Tertiary qualification in IT related discipline, e.g. Computer Science/Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Salesforce product suite
  • Demonstrated experience working with CRM products, SAP and other Sales & Distribution systems
  • High level communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders and influence change
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent networking and relationship management experience
  • Oil and gas industry knowledge, advantageous
  • User training and support experience, advantageous
