The opportunity
The Procure to Pay Transformation lead will own the definition, design and the implementation of detailed Source to contract and Procure to Pay process changes throughout Caltex, in line with identified design principles and opportunities. This role will make key contributions in collaboration with business and finance leaders and ERP programs to deliver real business benefits and new ways of working.

Within the frame of transformation and with direction from the Program Lead you will:

  • Lead and manage the detailed definition of the future state operating model for assigned core end to end procure to pay processes across the organisation to meet business and program objectives. This includes work processes, KPIs, enabling technology service delivery models, role capabilities, skill sets management and operating systems.
  • Define and lead the implement a project plan and change program required to achieve targeted outcomes and leaning out manual activities to drive targeted financial benefits. Collaborate with IT leads to ensure ERP and IT projects is business led to drive the process improvements.
  • Deploy disciplined project management practices to assigned work to drive achievement of targeted deliverables and meet program management requirements.
  • Lead a project team of internal and external experts, identify capabilities and skills required to effectively deliver stream objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with the business process owners and key stakeholders to advocate, partner, support and drive the change.

Experience Required
You are an experienced transformation leader with a demonstrated capacity to translate strategy into action, with well-developed commercial reasoning in assessing problems and trade-offs. As a project manager you are able to multi-task, successfully engage a diverse group of stakeholders and communicate key information effectively to both Project and Leadership Teams. Importantly, you are willing to take responsibility for getting things done and own outcomes alongside the business.
You are experienced in Procure to Pay processes and change management of cross functional end to end process compliance as a commercial /finance professional. Ideally you have experience gained in supply chain, buying and procurement functions in commodity or retail business.
